Value Contracting was founded all the way back in 1976 by Bob and Heather Pearce in Okanagan Falls, BC. We are a multi-generational family-owned business (we are not a corporation). Our enterprise continues to operate from the very town of its humble origins, and has steadily grown through dedicated service.
In 1994, the owners’ son, Mike, became a partner in the company. His wife, Karen, is the office manager, and our third generation is working through their apprenticeships. When Bob started the company 47 years ago, money was tight, and he didn’t have much to spend on painting his crane. He used the only paint he had on hand – a bright, fluorescent orange. To this day, the shade defines our cranes, and for our team, it is the symbol of our simple beginnings.
We always strive to keep on the cutting edge of technology by continuing our education in the industry. At Value Contracting, we hope to continue serving all our customers with a constant commitment to excellence.
Why Choose Us
All our operators are certified by the Province of British Columbia, and have electrical certification by BC Safe Authority.
Our employees are all required to complete at least 1 upgrade course a year, along with WHMIS and Violence & Harassment in the Workplace.
We sell, install and repair domestic and irrigation pumps, test and treat water, and drill wells. We have a down-well camera service, and test wells for quality and quantity for homeowners/towns or for property sales.
